Since childhood, I've been driven by a deep-seated passion for helping others and solving problems. This calling became abundantly clear when I witnessed my grandmother's unwavering dedication as she cared for my ailing grandfather for four years until his passing. Her selflessness left an indelible mark on me, igniting a desire to follow in her footsteps as a compassionate helper and problem solver. My journey began with volunteer work at the local military hospital through the Red Cross. Working on the in-patient ward with geriatric patients, I discovered the profound need for assistance, even in seemingly small tasks like feeding. While these experiences taught me valuable lessons about the importance of empathy and curiosity, they also revealed that the medical field wasn't my destined path. It was in my retail career that I found my true calling—a platform to make a tangible impact while indulging my joy in helping others. Transitioning into the retail beauty industry, I recognized the deep-seated need for clients to be heard and understood by compassionate professionals when addressing skin issues. One memorable encounter involved a client struggling with peeling and sensitive hands, hindering her daily activities. Recommending a tailored 3-step regimen, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of compassionate guidance. Her gratitude and newfound confidence epitomized the fulfillment I derive from my work. Stepping into leadership roles, I've embraced the values of empathy, integrity, and compassion, recognizing their pivotal role in fostering strong team connections and delivering lasting results. It's been a privilege to mentor and train numerous store teams, utilizing my interpersonal skills to identify and nurture talent.
