About Andrea Csia

I love to serve people! Whether I am helping someone craft their resume, finding the next book in a series, delighting a child by reading them a great story, creating a book club for teens, or passing out lunches, I am passionate about making every person's experience with the library an enriching one. One of my favorite roles is going out into the community to reach people where they are. Every week, I visit pre-schools to read and sing and have great fun with the children, with the goal of improving their pre-literacy skills. I represented the library at "One World Day" and presented engaging culturally diverse storytimes to families. I spoke at an all-school assembly getting students excited about signing up for Summer Reading Club. Whether inside the walls of the library or out in the community, I work in a manner respectful of abilities, culture and diversity to empower people of all ages to make their lives better, both now and in the future.
