About Andrea D.

As a Registered Dietitian who has earned the Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) credential, I am dedicated to improving athletic performance through tailored nutrition and evidence-based strategies at both the individual and team levels. My career as a sports dietitian began as a Performance Nutrition Fellow in December 2021. Since then, I transitioned to a Team Performance Dietitian in March 2023 and was promoted to the Assistant Director of Performance Nutrition for Olympic Sports in February 2025. I am currently the dietitian for the Men's Gymnastics, Men's and Women's Swim and Dive, and Women's Volleyball teams. My experience extends across multiple Olympic sports teams, ensuring each athlete is fueled to perform at their best and is set up for success during and after their collegiate sports career. Separate from college athletes, I also work one-on-one with triathletes, mountain bikers, and recreational athletes of all ages. Beyond my professional endeavors, I enjoy mountain biking and hiking at local Michigan parks, taking group fitness classes at my local gym, tending to my garden, and fueling my activities with homemade ice cream, muffins, and bread.
