About Andrea Denman

I have over 6 years experience within commercial architectural companies working on interior tenant improvements and medical office spaces. During those years I learned more about space planning, proper construction documentation, finish selection/ specification, building codes, strengthened my communication skills, broadened my AutoCAD proficiency and learned how to be a team player. I pride myself on being a fast learner with a strong dedication to my job. During my time in the industry I was never introduced to Revit so I completed one online LinkedIn tutorial and I'm working on a second one to gain some fundamental knowledge of the program. I am excited to use Revit and learn more about it as the software is incredibly intuitive. Prior to my layoff in 2009 I had aspirations of becoming NCIDQ certified as well as LEED certified. During my 13 years at home, raising my two kids, I volunteered at our elementary school, joined the PTO board for 3+ years, assisted in numerous school fundraisers, worked part-time at a local DIY shop where I taught group classes and volunteered for a dog rescue group.
