About Andrea Lapointe

I enjoy working with people to focus their energies on creating and clarifying their financial future. Learning about people, including what their passions are, where they are at now, and where they hope to be in the future, is fascinating. I have been with Edward Jones for over 12 years, and I'm thrilled to be continuing my career here in a new capacity. In 2022 I obtained my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING® designation so that I would be better equipped to serve clients. I also worked in a legal and accounting office after graduating from Camosun College with a Business Administration Diploma. I feel that working with clients to clarify their financial present and future is a perfect fit for the work experience, education and life experience that I've had so far. At Edward Jones we have access to a wide variety of resources and solutions, including in-depth research, that can assist me in creating a financial strategy tailored to you. By getting to know you, and understanding your unique situation, I can determine which solutions are the most appropriate. Then, we work together throughout your life to monitor that plan and make adjustments as your needs and priorities change. I have lived on Vancouver Island all my life, and I feel fortunate to have spent more than 20 years living in the Greater Victoria area; a place that allows me to enjoy my current passions and continually explore new ones. I enjoy dancing and, when I'm not working, you might find me at the dance studio taking, or teaching, classes. After a long hiatus, I also recently reconnected with the Saanich Pulling Together program, volunteering to support restoration efforts in various parks in our region. In addition to these interests, I also enjoy hiking, reading, slo-pitch, riding my motorcycle, travelling and spending time with my husband and our two teenage children. I am looking forward to working with clients who are interested in having an open, in depth, collaborative relationship with a professional in order to achieve their financial goals. I also look forward to collaborating with their other professionals to ensure we're all working together towards the best possible outcomes.
