Experienced and outcome focussed Academic and Clinical Physician Leader Jan 1, 2020 as Vice Dean Clinical Faculty Affairs Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western and also serving as past Chair Medical Advisory Committee at London Health Sciences Centre. Awarded the prestigious Canadian Association Radiologists Gold Medal 2021 for “outstanding contributions to the Association and to profession of radiology”, 4th women recipient and received designation as Fellow of the CAR. Expertise and >decade of experience with professionalism, incivility, leadership development, change management and coaching of physician leaders. As Vice Dean during COVID 19 crisis, developed and led Schulich Wellbeing Program - Peers for Peers P4P to support clinical faculty wellbeing within 3 weeks. Phase 1 of program was launched with 17 Wellbeing Leads within every academic department including Dentistry and Windsor at Schulich. Mentorship with mentorship committees for faculty including training on how to be a mentor and mentee with a matching system. Led and influenced physicians/professional staff and trainees involvement and engagement with Accreditation Canada survey November 2018, awarded Exemplary. The Accreditation Report notes that “Physicians at LHSC confirm that “it’s about quality” and “seeing quality outcomes”. “not an add on”. They report a culture shift in using meaningful data and recognizing the importance of maintaining the wellness of providers on an “exciting journey”.” Leading Quality and Patient Safety Indicators, co sponsor Patient Experience Council and promoting innovation with the introduction of Physician Indicators (eg. medication reconciliation, discharge summaries, etc)as part of hospital Balanced scorecard for Performance Monitoring. Certified in 2012 and re-certified in 2017 as Canadian Certified Physician Executive. Clinical operational Ivey Business courses. Leads mentorship group for women physician leaders. Previously Chair/Chef Department Medical Imaging at Schulich Western and London hospitals with a organizational and leadership expertise of working in the hospital & health care industry. Extensive background working with medical and radiology associations. Skilled in Medical Education, Medical Quality, Patient Safety, and Healthcare Information Technology (HIT). Strong healthcare services professional with a Diagnostic Radiology focused in Body imaging, CT/MRI graduated from University of Ottawa Diagnostic Radiology and Body Imaging Fellowship from Vanderbilt University.
