About Andrea Mata

Hello Hello. I’m Andrea, but my friends call me Dr. Dre. Yep, I’m that Dr. Dre — no headphones here, just straight-up strategies to tackle the big stuff. So, what’s the big mission? It’s simple and fierce: I’m here to throat-punch the youth mental health crisis. We’re talking adaptability, resilience, and some serious life skills for our young folks. I’m armed with a PhD in Clinical Psychology and a boatload of evidence-based tactics to help develop ADAPTABLE youth. Think of it as building an arsenal — each skill a powerful weapon against challenges. My mission came into sharp focus when I realized how many kids are struggling without the tools they need to thrive. I decided it’s time to change the game. I don’t just talk the talk; I walk it with them. In my workshops, talks, and coaching, I shoot it straight and provide practical, implementable strategies that you can start using within the next 24 hours. And hey, when I’m not on this critical mission, you might catch me sneaking some 'me time' trying to bike, run, or swim — that is if my twin seven-year-olds and five-year-old haven’t tracked me down first! Curious about how this mission started? Peek into my journey in my TEDx talk: https://youtu.be/VzKw4Kq8pyo?si=ZMqeY1TaVK15xwZo. Trust, it’s a story worth hearing. Will you put the gloves on and join me in this fight? Together, we can end this crisis and equip our youth for the battles ahead.
