About Andrea Padilla

I have worked at a private practice firm that handles plaintiff's litigation for catastrophically injured individuals. This includes personal injury, bad faith litigation as well as some contracts work. These cases are through out the country in both federal and state courts, this includes Michigan. In working in multiple jurisdictions I am required to research and know the laws, court rules, and local rules that apply to the jurisdictions that the cases are pending. I have been required to perform legal research and writing for briefs, responses, motions, replies, as well as draft discovery requests and responses and objections. I have handled document review of claim files which can consist of thousands of pages of documents, and corporate documents. I have worked in the past in management in court administration in which I managed both union and non union employees. I was called upon to handle human resource matters and project management. My education and experience can be used in both the legal field and other industries.
