Not for Profit Accounting Specialists I started Not for Profit Accounting Specialists 20 years ago after working in an NGO for a number of years. It became very apparent that there was a gap in the market between the services provided by organisations' auditors - who provided an independent overseeing role - and the NGO finance officers who were often needing accounting advice which wasn't in their auditors range of expertise. Over the last two decades years I have grown the business from a one person consulting firm to a business employing up to 25 people. The business still has plenty of scope to grow and as we do so we are able to improve our services and really value-add to the sector. I have a strong passion for the work that the NGO sector does and get a lot of satisfaction in being able to assist these organisation's in not only meeting their regulatory obligations but providing business expertise to assist them in making good strategic decisions.
