About Andrea Phillips
Andrea Zazzi is a seasoned communications leader with a track record in building strong relationships with First Nations throughout BC. She has experience leading numerous large scale consultation, and engagement projects, including media relations. Since joining the Tulo Centre in 2018, Andrea has coordinated the Applied Lands Management program and communications, while also bringing some levity to the team. With a background in journalism and a flair for creativity, Andrea oversees much of the Tulo Centre's operational work with a lighthearted touch. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Thompson Rivers University. Her passion for supporting the success of the students fuels her work and underscores her commitment to creating meaningful and lasting impacts. Andrea grew up on a farm in northeastern BC, and lived in various places around the world growing up. Culture has been an important part of her life for many years. She is passionate about Indigenous issues, and enjoys being a part of positive change in Aboriginal communities.
