As a driven and analytical Psychology student at East Texas A&M University, I am dedicated to understanding the intricate connections between human development, family dynamics, and individual well-being. My goal is to leverage psychological principles to build stronger, more resilient families and communities. My path to psychology is deeply personal, rooted in firsthand experience supporting children with diverse neurological needs, including ADHD, autism, and learning impairments. This lived experience has equipped me with profound empathy and a practical understanding of the challenges families face, fueling my passion to contribute to solutions in the mental health and caregiving spaces. With a 20-year background in dynamic, client-facing roles, I have cultivated exceptional skills in crisis management, fast-paced problem-solving, and collaborative communication. This practical experience is now backed by a record of academic excellence, including a 3.8 GPA and membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I am eager to apply my unique blend of lived experience, academic knowledge, and professional tenacity to an internship role where I can make a tangible impact, particularly exploring how emerging technologies can enhance developmental support and personalized learning.
