I have over twenty two years in public education, working with students as well as teachers to improve outcomes. As a previous reading specialist, I have played a key role in the successful transition and implementation of a new reading curriculum for two elementary schools. I thoroughly enjoy the satisfaction of being part of something bigger than myself that contributes to the well being of others. In my current position, I have been able to focus solely on the creative process to engage students in higher-order thinking and problem solving.
