About Andrea Steele

Associate Dean Learning and Teaching, Academic Chair, and Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology at Murdoch University, Western Australia. I have over a decade of experience working in academia, with a particular focus on academic leadership in learning and teaching, and transnational education. My skills in academic administration include curriculum development, quality and standards adherence and reporting, and leading accreditation efforts. My inter-disciplinary research spans organisational, social, and educational psychology with a focus on individual differences. I have research interests in leadership, recovery, identity development, and tertiary student outcomes. I supervise several HDR, honours, graduate diploma, and masters research projects. Prospective HDR students are encouraged to email me directly. My research has led to organisational consulting projects. I have presented at various national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
