Andreas Arndt is a highly accomplished professional with a proven track record of leadership and expertise in the financial services, automotive and military industry. Currently, he serves as QA Department Manager at equensWorldline SE Financial Services, Division Account Payments. In this role, he successfully manages a team of approximately 150 engineers and quality specialists, including subcontractors, spread across various offices in Europe and Asia. Prior to his current position, Andreas held the role of Release Train Engineer for an Agile Release Train, following the SAFe® methodology. This train comprised more than 60-90 members and focused on delivering exceptional results for a CGI product in the media environment. Additionally, as Head of Development, he held direct staff responsibility for 20 employees and provided valuable guidance on in-house process and product quality, ensuring the seamless functioning of the entire development section. Andreas is recognized as an accredited trainer for ISTQB certifications, endorsed by the German Testing Board, further showcasing his commitment to professional development and excellence in the field of software testing. With a career spanning several significant milestones, Andreas joined CGI in 2017, initially serving as Head of Test Factory Defense in Potsdam, followed by his role as Head of the Test & Quality Services Practice in Germany West. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2016, he made significant contributions as an executive consultant for strategies on enterprise level for software testing at a prominent German automotive manufacturer. Andreas's diverse background further includes valuable experiences as an artillery officer in the German Armed Forces between 1998 and 2011, serving from 2005 to 2011 in the Joint Forces Operations Command as IT officer. He subsequently pursued a degree in electrical engineering and transitioned into the IT domain, where he specialized in areas such as information management, application lifecycle management, and lessons learned.
