About Andreas Bentz

As of the beginning of May 2016 I'm working as a Lighting Designer at Norlux AB and with my background in different areas I have a good platform of experience to rely on. I gained a lot of experience from working at my previous company; Fagerhult Retail Lighting where I worked closely with project managers, international colleagues, electricians, installers, concept designers and contribute highly to the profit and overall success of Fagerhult as an international company. Nike was my main customer for more than 4 years and I have contributed greatly to the profit Fagerhult has made from this business by applying my skills as a Lighting Designer, concept developer and project manager. I have also participated in the development of more efficient working methods and supported the customer in various ways, which has led to the profitable and good relationship Fagerhult has with Nike today. By merit of having studied Lighting Design at JTH -Jönköping School of Engineering for two years and prior to that one year of Visual Merchandiser at Handelsakademin in Gothenburg, I have a solid base of knowledge that has been of value to me in many ways during my developing career as a Lighting Designer. In addition, I have a background in sales and experience in the electronic and audio-visual retail industry, where I learned to work closely with the customer and to gain an understanding of the interaction between the product and the consumer. I have also come to appreciate the importance of the proper exposure of products, with correct lighting and display, and how it affects the customer´s psychology and their consuming behavior.
