About Andreas Clair

With 17 years of experience in and around software development I've transformed from a narrow, specialized mindset, to a broad and agnostic approach where my experience from 25+ projects of different types comes to hand. In the beginning of my career I decided to focus on one product suite, namely Optimzely/Episerver. That gave me experience as a developer, tech lead, solution architect, competence lead and many other responsibilities required to guide different types of stakeholders from idea to reality within various contexts. The product was the fixed point around which I could further grow as a professional. After twelve years I decided to focus even more on the bigger picture, acting as a business analyst and product manager. A lovely experience and a step I'm really glad I took. A longing back to the tech side made me switch back to where I came form. Today, I'm acting as a techlead and developer/architect. I do maintenance on legacy, structure data, write fresh APIs, improve my frontend skills, talk to customers, expand my network, support my teammates and try to use modern and proper tools for each job. I am highly pragmatic about different technologies and programming languages. My desire to learn has never been greater and every time I scratch the surface of something I haven't used before, I realise how much of my role is about understanding and doing the right things. Exactly which tools or languages ​are used is the final piece of the puzzle that after many years of experience can be varied quite easily as needed. Don't hesitate to reach out!
