About Andreas Dimakakos

I am a highly motivated, intensely focused molecular biologist with a strong background in biochemistry. I possess a MSC and PhD in Biology-Medicine and my interests lie in the study of carcinogenics. I have been part of multi-disciplinary teams of scientists, and by working with those people I realized that my greatest strengths are adaptability and conflict resolution. Constant interaction with pharmaceutical representatives endowed me with strong communication skills, while the mentoring of under-graduate and younger post-graduate students taught me patience and educational skills. My advanced computer knowledge allows me to be entirely self-sufficient in all computer-related issues, even if that includes statistical analysis of medium-sized groups of data. In general, I aspire to be up-to-date with the most recent developments in my field and always better myself and broaden my horizons. I set goals and then apply the appropriate amount of effort, whatever that is, to achieve them.
