About Andreas Dippon

My passion is to work on UI/UX related topics and Human-Computer-Interaction. I also enjoy designing systems to not only enable users to easily interact with, but also to enable onlookers to easily understand and follow the interaction. My own academic research was focused on these topics as well as the theses of many students that I supervised. Additionally I reviewed 500+ UI and game prototypes from entry level to master level students. I am currently working at Beatrust in Tokyo as Vice President of Engineering. I am mainly responsible for organizing the development and design teams and processes, hiring new engineers, co-create the feature roadmap and financial planning in the technology and design department. My focus is to ensure the well-being and motivation of my teams as well as enabling them to improve themselves and work with high performance and reliability. Previously I was working at Rohde & Schwarz in Munich as a Senior Software Developer. My main tasks included - Bridge between Engineering, Design and Product Management: Converting customer requirements to UI sketches and prototypes, iterating these with stakeholders and further breaking them down into implementation steps for production - UX/Usability: Consulting across multiple Projects - Software Architecture of a Micro Frontend Angular Application - Extensions to an Open Source JavaScript Library - Implementations in JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, C#- Supervision of Working Students
