Imagine what digitalization can do! Today I see myself as an advocate for visionary, strategic, and digital transformation within the supply chain industry. Beginning my career as a “techie” and scientist at heart I contributed to innovative digital solutions for many years in the field of warehousing, supply chain execution, and mobile robotics. Later, as a founder and managing director of IT companies I helped drive open source and software “as-a-service"(SaaS) business models. I still enjoy exploring new technologies and developing modern digital services. But the credo is to place the human being at the center. You have to understand the way people think to make the best use of technology and guide digital transformation in the right direction. With the rise of the COVID-19 crisis and the pressure of climate change, and Ukraine war supply chains are more than ever in the spotlight - not only in retail and industry but also in the public discussion. To stay resilient, we must re-think logistics towards end2end or even circular digital supply chains. This is not something that one person or one company can do alone! Whether you are a global brand or an SME supplier. We need agile, efficient networks, with people with diverse skills, know-how, and visionary mindset. Within Bitergo and together with our partners I am happy to have exactly those people by my side. Together we are building solutions like Warehouse Star to establish a digital foundation of high end2end integration.
