About Andreas Kandiros

Andreas Kandiros, MSc (Advanced Information Systems), MBA (Engineering Economics), Hellenic Military Academy, School of Computer Programmers of Hellenic Army General Staff Andreas, a qualified senior ICT consultant based in Athens, Greece, has long experience in the field of information systems, databases and data processing, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the clients. Andreas has also attended advanced seminars on Project Management (PMI Methodology), Business Analytics, Big Data, Data Warehouse – Data Mining Technologies, Information Technology for Disability Persons, Oracle Data Base Administration, Cisco Networking and other. Andreas began his career in 1988 as an officer in the Transportation & Supply Corps of Greek Army, before turning to ICT field. After moving to Research & Information Technology Corps of Greek Army, Andreas gained further experience working for a total of 16 years as Database Administrator (Oracle, Ingres) and ICT Project Manager, at the same time reaching senior management positions. In addition to his work with the Greek Army he was certified by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) as an adult educator and worked in the field of adult education, having more than ten thousand hours of experience teaching IT and business administration courses. Since November 2013, is inspired to work for private sector enterprises in the ICT field, taking up managerial positions. Now he leads the software unit of Cosmos Business Systems, designing and implementing complex digital transformation projects for enterprises and organizations in the Public and Private Sectors. His working interests are in the area of Strategic planning, Organizing cross functional and effective teams, Enterprise Applications Design, Systems Analysis and Design, Business Processes Analysis and their combination for the digital transformation of businesses and organizations.
