Background
About Andreas Loukas
As the Business Owner and technical architect of Biologics, I direct the strategic vision and execution of the Biologics vertical at Isomorphic Labs. We work to engineer a step change in antibody discovery, moving the industry from serendipitous discovery to predictable, first-principles design. My team builds the generative and predictive capabilities that allow us to rationally design therapeutics. By combining state-of-the-art AI with rigorous wetlab validation, we work to unlock undruggable targets and to radically compress the timeline from concept to candidate. Background:* Isomorphic Labs: Principal Scientist & Vertical Lead (Biologics)* Prescient Design (Genentech/Roche): Former Group Leader * Academia: Former Assistant Professor (University of Luxembourg), PI (EPFL), and Postdoc (TU Berlin).Fun facts:* I earned an Erdős number of 3 by analyzing online algorithms in the desert (with great company)* I enjoy spending time in a hidden forest grove where I carve small objects from salvaged wood.* I claim to have read every Asimov book twice.g scholar: & hl=en
