Experienced tax leader with a background as a tax advisor in the professional services firm of EY, lawyer with leading Danish law firm of Kromann Reumert, tax advisor for Danish multinational FLSmidth A/S and Head of Tax for Svitzer A/S (A.P Møller Mærsk group). Currently Head of Tax at Phoenix X A/S (A.P Møller Mærsk A/S group) driving strategic decarb and PtX projects. Communicating and defining international tax advice covering complex tax issues in an easy-to-understand and operational manner. The ability to bring operational solutions to the business and to simplify complex tax issues to provide both peers and management with a good basis for decision-making is a skill that I take pride in. My fundamental view on tax functions is that they should be more than compliance centers remaining passive participants in transformational business efforts. I strive to create modern tax functions able to challenge the status quo when relevant and take ownership in being an active strategic business asset that constantly delivers high-quality and valuable insights to support the overall business strategy.
