About Andreas Nowak

People Manager with strong stakeholder management skills and a background in chemistry, technical services, operations, projects, planning and R&D in the oil and gas industry. My strengths lie in coaching, mentoring and leading people in complex organisations. Over the last years I have implemented and used LEAN/Agile methodologies in fast-track recovery (rebuild) projects in Shell’s Moerdijk and Rheinland assets and in the service organization in the Shell Technology Centre, Amsterdam. We are at a cross-roads between old and new technologies, ways of working and behaviours. In addition to my personal contribution, I want to contribute professionally to the transition process and the technologies required per step. Mental and physical health for myself, family, friends and colleagues are high on my agenda. In my last role I worked with our Health organization to promote Mindfulness at work, healthy eating, use of the in-house gym for all contractors and employees, yoga at work and lectures on mental health and related subjects.
