Technology and Innovation Leader with 20+ years of experience in robotics, AI, automation, and EU innovation funding. As CTO and Executive Board Member at PROFACTOR, I drive the technological and scientific strategy of one of Austria’s leading applied research institutions. My passion lies at the intersection of deep learning, collaborative robotics, and human-centered automation. With my team, I develop solutions for intelligent manufacturing, 3D vision, and scalable robotic systems – bringing advanced technology closer to real-world application. Since 2018, I’ve also served as an External Expert for the European Commission (Horizon Europe), advising on innovation policy, funding proposals, and strategic evaluation of high-impact research projects.
