About Andreas Raggl

I’m Managing Partner at Risk Dynamics, a unit of McKinsey & Company supporting clients in financial services to take an agile and integrated approach to risk management, from developing overall proactive risk strategies to establishing and nurturing a true risk culture. From my base in Zurich, I advise and serve board and top management teams in leading private and public financial institutions across Europe, the Middle East, UK and the US. This includes retail, private, corporate and investment banking businesses at top global institutions. With more than 20 years’ experience in financial services strategy, my areas of expertise include: market and credit risk. Regulation, risk data, digital banking, trading and risk technology. I am passionate about pioneering financial services and risk management in different markets around the world. Prior to joining McKinsey, I was a trade and risk management specialist, working in both mature and emerging markets in EMEA and North America. During that time, I gained experience in traditional and technical areas of risk, including portfolio risk and performance measurement, as well as alternative investments, risk systems and IT. I am enthusiastic outdoor person and the Alps are my home. Any sport in the mountains is my favorite. I love architecture and design and I live and breathe sustainability.
