Fail better.” - Samuel Beckett Im a people leader, experienced in educational, pedagogical, and social-oriented work - and my leadership and management principles is grown out of the essence of the original aspects of empowerment. I believe empowerment is a matter of expanding the power and resources within the team. Empowerment is, for me, another way of saying: “The more the merrier”. In Nordea I've succeeded in building a strong, stable culture, with focus on problem solving and continuously improvement. I've achieved so, by following the above principles, as well as coaching my employees in their mandate and responsibilities. By working agile and data-driven, I ensure that we keep focused on the right matters at the right times, meaning that we prioritize value adding steps, and by that also eliminate non-value adding steps. As leader in Nordea, I've experienced leading different teams/areas and therefore different subject fields. This, combined with the fact that Im educated outside the financial world, have taught me how to adapt and lead within areas that at first glance would appear foreign to me. In Nordea I see the customer as my main stakeholder. I try to create and maintain great customer experiences through people development and sensemaking in everything we do. By being transparent, honest and dedicated, I ensure that my unit believe in, and commit to, the common strategies and priorities of our organisation.
