Dr. Andreas S. Schuster is a seasoned transformation executive with a strong track record across financial services, consulting, and digital innovation. He currently serves as Global Leader for People Analytics, HR Operations & IT, and Rewards & Performance at Allianz Direct (the fully digital insurance unit of Allianz Group). In this role, he drives strategic transformation across five countries, leading global centers of excellence and overseeing operating model evolution, digital HR ecosystems, and performance architecture. Previously, he held senior roles within Allianz Group, including Deputy Head of HR Data Strategy and Global Expert for Organizational Design & Analytics at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where he shaped enterprise-wide governance and workforce analytics frameworks. Prior to joining Allianz, Dr. Schuster worked as a management consultant at firms such as BearingPoint and metafinanz, where he advised clients in banking, insurance, manufacturing, and public administration on digital strategy, process excellence, and large-scale transformation programs. Academically, he holds an MBA in International Management, an M.A. in Change Management, and a B.A. in Governance & Public Policy. He earned his doctorate in strategic management and digital entrepreneurship from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
