About Andreas Sandberg

Positive, ambitious and structured master student within Supply Chain Management at Chalmers Univeristy of Technology. I am studying my final year at Chalmers and are currently writing my master thesis together with Olof Svensson at Volvo Group within the area of supply chain resilience. In recent years, I have taken a great interest in logistics and finance, and I find it very interesting to be able to follow a chain from beginning to end. My native language is Swedish and I speak English well. I have good computer skills and have experience with the ERP system SAP, as well as a completed course within Microsoft Excel. In addition, I have played football since childhood and have therefore become a good team player. I believe that I would suit the position because I am an orderly and structured person with good communication skills, who is also solution-oriented and likes to try new things and take new paths. Furthermore, I have a great desire to develop and grow in my career and continue to learn more. During a course in the Supply Chain Management program, called Supply Chain strategy, me and my three classmates; Olof Svensson, Cecilia Byberg and Josefin Halvarsson, demonstrated our problem-solving abilities when we managed to win the annually case competition organized by Accenture at Chalmers. In the summer of 2023, I worked as a Supply Planner at Carlsberg in Falkenberg, where I mainly acted as production planner and operative purchaser. I appreciated and grew with the great personal responsibility and benefited greatly from being a structured person who likes order. In addition, I appreciated the aspects of the daily work that involved communication, both internally and externally. Furthermore, in this role I worked in SAP and Microsoft Excel daily. In the past, in parallel with my studies, I have worked on weekends and summers as a shop assistant at Kronans Fisk in Varberg since 2017. In the summer of 2022, I also acted as deputy shop manager. Nowadays, I only work extra as a shop assistant. As a shop assistant, I took care of the customers and provided them with the products of their choice. Additionally, I received and took care of deliveries and placed purchase orders. It also meant filling up the shop, making sure everything looked good and clean. In my spare time, I practice karate at Karate Club Kokoro-Kai Dojo, which I have been doing since 2007 and since 2015 I have a black belt. I also hold training sessions and activities for the young members in the club since a number of years back.
