About Andreas Schaetzke

He was born on April 24th, 1990 in Leipzig and graduated from high school in 2009. At the age of 18, Andreas founded his first esports club diamondZ e.V, and became a young entrepreneur. Andreas studied chemistry and Russian for three semesters at the University of Leipzig and then switched to economics. In 2012 he founded his first company, KAYDEE, which is still active as a consulting and development company in electronic sports to this day. Through this, he incubated the successful esports brand PENTA, which is now a subsidiary of KAYDEE. Today, PENTA is one of the leading esports clubs in Germany and holds several world and European championship titles. Due to the rapid development and increasing responsibility at KAYDEE, Andreas moved to Berlin in 2014 and studied at the FOM University for two more years. He then had to pause his studies and today works in scientific cooperation with the FOM University on the subject of esports. He is also the author of several books and publications on the subject of esports. In May 2020 Andreas took the opportunity to found NATION-E Innovation GmbH and to invest in it with KAYDEE, as well as to take on the role of managing director. Andreas and his team created the vision of a new hygiene standard. This is summarized by the most revolutionary technologies in a 360-degree concept. The that's it brand was created under this umbrella. Today the company is expanding into over 30 countries and has taken a leading role in the field of coatings in Germany. Andreas has two sons and is happily married.
