I am a distinguished graduate of the esteemed Police Academy "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" where I honed my skills in one of the most arduous domains of law enforcement: combating organized crime, with a specific specialization in cybercrime. Throughout an illustrious six-year tenure in the Cybercrime Unit (SCCI), my focus has been on handling intricate and high-profile cases, including successful joint investigations conducted in collaboration with the FBI. This accomplishment garnered recognition, resulting in my selection as a trainee for highly intricate training programs offered by the FBI and the US Secret Service. My involvement in these specialized training initiatives sparked a deep fascination with the technical aspects of my profession which I had the privilege of further exploring upon joining Secureworks Europe. Embarking on my journey with Secureworks, I initially assumed the role of an Information Security Advisor. Demonstrating dedication and good performance, I swiftly ascended to the Team Lead role within a remarkable span of one year. This promotion bestowed upon me a multitude of advantages, chief among them being the invaluable opportunity to share my experience with colleagues and benefit from the wisdom of top-tier cybersecurity experts. Additionally, I gained unrivaled visibility into diverse client environments and configurations, skillfully utilizing an array of cutting-edge tools such as Taegis, Red Cloak, Carbon Black, Tanium, Defender ATP, MCAS, Splunk, IronPort, ProofPoint, Panorama, and various others. My multifaceted role within Secureworks encompasses delving into complex cybersecurity incidents, proffering expert guidance to counteract the most formidable threats and actively participating as a key member of the Blue Team in numerous penetration testing engagements. These endeavors have provided me with unparalleled insights into an extensive range of Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), showcasing the intricate interplay of their integration and the catastrophic consequences a sophisticated threat actor can unleash.
