About Andrei Bato

As the youngest of an immigrant family of five, I have a huge passion for technology and learning new skills. My love and curiosity about the sciences and technology have propelled me to become a Computer Science student. I am currently seeking an internship, research opportunity, or a new graduate position as a software engineer. After being a part of numerous organizations such as NASA Jet Propulsions Laboratory, the United States Navy, American Honda Motor Inc. Co, and Slugbotics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, I have learned what it takes to work in a team and finish projects on time. From my experiences, I have also learned what it means to work hard and exceed expectations. As a student of Computer Science, I also acquired knowledge in developing software and understanding algorithms that can be applied in the real world. My experience and technical skills set me apart from other candidates. My desire for knowledge also enables me to treat every situation as a learning opportunity to better myself and everyone that is around me. I am not afraid to ask questions or challenge the norm of thinking when it is more efficient and beneficial for the desired result.
