About Andrei Beliaev

As a professional R&D synthetic chemist with over 8 years of experience in both academia and industry, I have developed a strong aptitude for the preparation of a wide range of sophisticated organic, inorganic, and hybrid building materials, including those that are sensitive to air. My passion for chemistry has led me to continuously seek out new molecules and innovative routes to their synthesis, utilizing a broad spectrum of scientific analytical instruments to gain insight into their diverse properties.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated my ability to lead research projects both independently and as part of a team, as well as my talent for educating and training fellow professionals, transferring knowledge, and fostering an inspiring and collaborative working atmosphere.Currently, I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Nanoscience center/Department of Chemistry at the University of Jyväskylä, where I am focused on designing efficient triplet emitters and exploring the fascinating world of molecular knots.
