For the last 4 years I had the pleasure of collaboration with Oracle as a Customer Service Admin Support for Opera. Opera is by far the top Property Management Solution on the Market. All hotels worth their salt use Opera. I am part of the Opera Support team. As a veteran engineer of the EMEA team I am known to our biggest customers such as Travelodge, Movenpick and Marriott. I offer support for this product as well as assist the development team in fixing current bugs and facilitate the communication between the customer and the Development team. I have vast technical knowledge of the product, knowledge of the SQL Plus. I work very closely with the Oracle Customer Advocacy Managers to provide swift and sustainable solutions to our customers. The job requires an analytic and imaginative mindset to solve the issues that appear, most of them being new issues that no other engineer or customer faced before, as well as the highest calibre of soft skills in relating to the customer. Understanding and respecting data protection protocols is an integral part of the job. Since we operate with sensitive information on a daily basis, and therefore I strive towards improving my knowledge of Data Protection Protocols.
