Main activities and responsabilities- Developing native Applications leveraging Google’s Android SDK with a focus on Arhitecture Components libraries and Firebase APIs - Maintaining and enhancing existing Native Android Applications - Liaising with management and product owners to define product requirements and identify potential risks and pitfalls- Coordinating with fellow developers within the team to explore optimal implementation approaches My main focus is Native Android development using the latest technologies and libraries- Java and Koltin development knowledge, with more focused towards Kotlin - Android Architecture components (Lifecycle Components, MVVM, Singleton)- Familiar with implementing threading solutions using Kotlin's new Coroutines framework - Experience with the industry standard network stack: Retrofit, OkHttp, Gson - I’ve worked with multiple local persistence solutions such as Room, SQLite as well as GFS. I’ve worked on multiple projects for large Romanian companies, used by X users such as- A management application deployed at scale, used by delivery drivers to schedule, log and deliveries. Courier-friendly UI- Ecommerce app with a focus on food delivery and products to nearby users- News app for one of the largest romanian publications. Real time news updates and notifications. Video streaming, Image handling.
