As the Manager of Database Engineering at Sustainalytics, I lead and support a talented and dynamic team of database engineers in creating and maintaining new and existing products, such as ESG ratings, Carbon risk ratings & Emissions, Eu Taxonomy, Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, Controversial Weapons Radar, Impact Metrics. My team is responsible for product delivery, client communication and everything else that ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the database engineering department within our business unit. Our tech stack includes SQL, PostgreSQL, and Python skills. Communication with internal and external clients is a big part of my work and crucial in understanding their needs, providing feedback, and resolving their issues.
