About Andrei Rys

Embedded C/C++ developer with 15 years of active C89/C99/C11 experience. Designed & developed high efficiency power supplies in the past, but still want to bring it back as my hobby, now digitalized with MCUs. Interested in renewable energy but only from technical point of view.(e.g. how to convert solar DC power to mains three phase AC) Developed some Linux drivers for home projects, e.g. interfacing with ham radio. Hacked Atheros Wi-Fi chips. Wrote some critical firmware for AVR8 MCUs. Routinely reverse engineer using radare2, mainly MIPS or RISC-V FW.(x64dbg in past, I hate x86 & CISC tbh) Recently got heavily involved into RISC-V world as an ordinary software/systems engineer. Would love to have some chip design experience in a future. Currently a proud employee at Rockwell Automation. I love my job and I believe I make this world a little better place by working for RA.
