About Andrei Simedre

I am born and raise in Beius, a small city from Bihor county in Romania. I love it in here, being small you get to know people around you and form a sense of community. I currently work as an iOS developer, although my journey started as a web developer. I was and I still am passionate about apple products, this made me wanna follow the path of iOS development. I really do enjoy my job, I like discussing different tech topics, iOS related or not. Besides my day to day tasks, I am very interested into electronics/automation and 3D modeling. I like open minded environments where people can contributed and bring up their ideas and I love it when there is a possibility for feedback. I must say, feedback was maybe the biggest factor in my growth as a developer and as a human being. I am very open to feedback. As hobbies, music plays a big role for me, I like to have music playing all the time. I play drums and a little bit of acoustic guitar. Also I am very into running, I like going to competitions and meet new people. At the moment I think the running community is the most honest community that I've taken part of. My top skills are: Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, SPM, CocoaPods, CocoaTouch In my early days as a web developer I have worked with: PHP, MySQL, Javascript, NodeJS, CSS, HTML, MongoDB, Drupal, WordPress, Google Maps API, Firebase, Git, SVN
