About Andrei Solomon

I have experience with installing and configuring Linux Systems(CentOS,RHEL) on Virtual Machines and bare metal servers. I have installed, configured and managed several server apps like DHCP servers, DNS servers, HTTP servers, Grafana, IP managment software. Knowledge of SIP protocol and how VoIP communication works gathered while installing and practicing with telephony server software Asterisk. Experience creating code/scripts with Python, Ruby, some practical experience creating webapps in Ruby on Rails 6 framework and Django Hands-on experiente with automatic deployment and configuration tools (eg. Puppet/Ansible) Practical experience writing Ansible playbook for automation in configuring servers and also bash scripting knowledge for system administration. Basic level knowledge in Python and C++ programming languages. SNMP monitoring experience obtained while deploying a Zabbix monitoring server for a local data center. Also IPMI managment experience from working with HP's proprietary variant, iLO. Networking knowledges in IP routing and switching and practical experience working with Cisco switches and routers while following Cisco Certified Network Associate courses and on the job.
