About Andrei Ungureanu

Since 2012, i have been working with UPS, where i have gained extensive experience in logistics and transportation. My role involves managing high workloads under tight deadlines, understanding export regulations, customs procedures, assist in preparing and processing export documentation, managing export related reports, being a proactive team player and serving as an occupational health and safety representative. In addition to my daily tasks, i am a member of the European Works Council Select committee board member. Graduated Zealand Institute of Business and Technology with an AP and Bachelor degree in international Marketing and Sales. As a highly competitive individual, i have a strong background in sports. Won 3 national titles with Frederiksberg Rugby Klub and represented Denmark internationally in both rugby League and Union and multiple podium finishes in strength competitions. Volunteering is a significant part of my life. I have coached youth rugby at my former local club, also in gymnasiums and high schools across Denmark, managing up to 250 students in a day and using rugby to support and connect with students with social issues. Participated in UPS volunteer activities on numerous occasions (Wheelchair rugby world cup Vejle 2022, Special Olympics Sports Festival 2022 to name a few) and now serving as Chairman of the Focus on Ability BRG for the Nordics Countries. Vice-chair of the Danish Federation of Strength Athletes, where our goal is to organize strength shows across Denmark that showcase the dedication and prowess of our athletes, while encouraging new members to join our community. We wish to inspire strength, both physical and mental, camaraderie and personal growth among all participants, promoting a culture of empowerment and mutual support. In 2022, I joined the Danish Home Guard (Hjemmeværnet) serving as an active member, contributing to national security and community support. Driven by a competitive spirit, i am always looking for new challenges and opportunities. Focused on creating value in every endeavor, learning quickly, and adapting to any environment. My self-motivation and discipline drive my success, and i am committed to continuous progress and growth.
