About Andrei Yakunin
Dr. Andrei M. Yakunin is currently project leader at ASML Research. He has worked for ASML since 2007 with the primary focus on EUV sources. He obtained his master degree in applied physics and mathematics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 2001. He received his PhD Cum Laude in 2005 from Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands (TU/e). The subject of his PhD work was the study of magnetic impurities in semiconductors at nano-scale. From 2005-2007 he did his postdoctoral work at TU/e in the field of semiconductor spectroscopy and single photon emission. Andrei has over 20 patens and over 15 publications including PRL and Nature Materials. He is also the winner of ASML Patent Award and ASML award for Best Innovation.
