About Andreia Borges

Passionate about Psychology, Human Resources/Organizational Behavior (HROB) and Sustainability/Corporate Social Responsibility.After I graduated in social and organizational Psychology, I worked at the HR department of Sonae Sierra for about one year. I also worked in corporate events' management. Although I really enjoyed it, my passion about research led me back to the University, and I enrolled in a PhD in Management. My PhD thesis explored the political role of companies that engage in corporate social responsibility. This is a rather controversial topic however it embodies, in my view, the future of business.During these academic years, I had the chance to learn a lot and I got experience as a trainer, researcher, and university professor in some relevant institutions such as the Portuguese Police (PSP) and CATÓLICA-LISBON.I have also published some scientific articles in renowned journals such as Social Responsibility Journal, and Policing: A journal of Policy and Practice.I am currently professor in multiple institutions where I teach in the areas of HR Management and Psychology. I consider myself as a resilient and hard-working person, passionate about teaching and research.
