About Andreia Ribeiro

I began my academic journey as a Clinical Psychologist, focusing on palliative care during my Master’s Degree—an area that continues to inspire my passion. After completing my degree in 2007, I quickly pivoted to the recruitment market due to an employment crisis. I found my niche in companies that value a sales mentality and strong communication skills. In 2015, I joined Altran (now Capgemini Engineering) as a Junior IT Recruiter. My background provided the resilience to thrive in challenging environments, and I embraced the growth from around 600 to over employees—a truly mind-blowing experience! Today, I proudly lead a team of 10 amazing individuals. My daily focus is on learning and analyzing ways to enhance our results and improve our recruitment metrics. I maintain my role as a recruiter, which allows me to stay connected with the market and the latest technologies—something I genuinely love about my job. Throughout my career, I’ve successfully placed hundreds of talented professionals in outstanding international projects. On a personal note, I’m also a proud mom of three wonderful kids, Maria, Inês, and Tomás, who bring sunshine to my life. My career objective is to further develop my technical skills as both a leader and a recruiter. As a manager, I strive to empower my team with independence and adapt our work environment to foster the best work-life balance.
