About Andrej Ivanovski

As a Junior Researcher at ACIES BIO Ltd, I apply my knowledge and skills in biotechnology and biochemistry to develop and optimize fermentation processes for various bioproducts. I work with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to design, execute, and analyze experiments, using state-of-the-art equipment and software. I have been working at ACIES BIO Ltd. since September 2021, starting as a Research Assistant and then advancing to an Associate Bioprocess Engineer and a Junior Researcher. During this time, I have contributed to multiple projects, such as enhancing the yield and quality of a recombinant protein, improving the stability and scalability of a microbial strain, and evaluating the feasibility and profitability of a novel bioprocess. I have also obtained a certification in European Bioprocess Engineering in September 2023, which demonstrates my competence and commitment to the field. My passion for biotechnology and biochemistry stems from my education at the University of Ljubljana, where I completed my Master's, and Bachelor's degrees in these disciplines. I have gained a solid theoretical and practical foundation, as well as a broad and interdisciplinary perspective, on the principles and applications of biotechnology and biochemistry. My goal is to continue learning and growing as a biotechnology and biochemistry professional, and to contribute to the advancement and innovation of the biotechnology industry. I am eager to take on new challenges and opportunities, and to collaborate with other experts in the field.
