About Andres Guzman

Big people-person, I thrive in groups and teamwork settings. Since I was 5 I was always oriented around team work activities whether it been sports, clubs, music, or work. I was a presidential chair as well as a member of the honors society Phi Theta Kappa in the Elgin Community College chapter. I helped organize and plan events + fundraisers for our community. Some responsibilities of current position (Associate Banker at Chase)- Wire up to 500k either internationally or domestically with due diligence that the client is not getting scammed or using the bank to launder money - Help clients with issues or goals that they have from creating a certain account for their kid or themselves to closing accounts or helping them avoid fees - Connecting clients to the right people and using teamwork to get them the best service when applying for a home loan, investment advice, and business related consulting. I also do speak Spanish well however not perfect, I do still try to practice and better myself. Some clients who only speak Spanish are always almost directed to me and they are usually grateful and happy I can communicate their needs and help them out. Currently taking FINRA licensing examinations with no sponsorship and all self-teaching. I am looking forward to further my career in the banking/finance industry in a group or team setting where we try to achieve a common goal and build trustful/meaningful connections with team members and clients.
