I am an engineer, founder, and investor dedicated to scaling MiningTech from Latin America to the world. After building Mining Tag into one of the region’s most important MiningTech companies — and selling it to Epiroc — I created Alza Mining Tech Fund to back the next generation of founders transforming mining. My work focuses on helping high-potential startups validate technology in real operations, expand commercially, and grow globally with solid governance and strategic support. Today, our portfolio includes companies like Robotia and Kinamics, and we actively evaluate breakthrough solutions in automation, data, robotics, AI, and electrification. I believe innovation in mining should be born in Chile but have global impact. My mission is to connect talent, capital, and technology to build safer, more efficient, and more sustainable operations across the industry.
