I am proud to be a Senior Structural Revit Technician in a growing buildings team at Arup Winchester; responsible for the resourcing, modelling, draughting and coordination of high quality, information-centric BIM models. I am extremely passionate about Structural Engineering, Design, BIM & Modelling. I enjoy working in a forward looking industry currently undergoing a big transition towards Digitization, Collaboration and Automation in all aspects of work. I am the ICE South Branch Committee member for Technician engagement. Im currently working on new projects in the Arup Winchester office. Past/ongoing projects include- JLR Solihull Digital Twin Scan to BIM - Places Leisure Centre Eastleigh £25m - Southampton Solent University Sports Building £20m - Brighton Dome Corn Exchange Redevelopment £15m - Winchester College Sports Centre Redevelopment - Winchester City New Sport & Leisure Building £38m - University of West Sussex, West Slope Regeneration - Sheffield Heart of the City Regeneration - Gordon Murray Design Windlesham Campus I began my career 13 years ago as a Trainee at Gifford LLP (Now Ramboll UK) using AutoCAD. I have now progressed into an experienced Senior Structural Technician using BIM software such as Revit, Revizto, BIM360, Navisworks and Microstation. I completed a 3 month secondment in Ramboll UK's Dubai office in 2012 using Revit on a new landmark mall in Lusail, Qatar. Other Ramboll projects included Paddington Crossrail Canopy, Doha Metro Project & Custom House Station. I was then employed at Ridge LLP for 2 years, starting in 2014, working on large, concrete framed residential buildings. I also spent 6 months at Hampshire County Council where i was working on several new build and refurbishment educational projects.
