About Andrew Anderson

I’m a mission-driven leader and disabled U.S. Army veteran with nearly 20 years of experience across military service, K–12 education, nonprofit partner management, and systems development. Most recently, I have served as Principal of Mastery High School of Camden, where I led post-COVID academic recovery, grew enrollment to 800+ students, expanded dual enrollment and workforce pathways, and increased NJGPA ELA proficiency to 65%. Rooted in the values of Family, Faith, Equity, Community, and Service, my work has focused on solving complex problems and building inclusive, sustainable systems. I’ve managed over $20M in school budgets, led multi-year strategic plans and partnerships, and developed special education and transition programs that connected students to real-world skills and workforce pathways. Highlights include securing a $250K grant to launch an 18–22 life skills initiative and expanding small business and postsecondary partnerships.
