About Andrew Angert

I am currently a student at Gannon University. I am in the Sport and Exercise Science Program here at Gannon. I am either want to become an Athletic Trainer or a Physical Therapist once I complete my undergraduate. I am a very hands on type of guy who loves to be around sports. Even though my playing days are over, I still want to be around the sports I truly have a passion for. Since I've had many injuries throughout my career I feel as if it would help me help my patients in a way because I've been in their shoes before and what what it takes to get back to where they want to be. I do not have any prior experience coming into this program. My high school didn't offer any sports medicine or athletic training classes, Also, there isn't any clinics or offices that allow high school students to volunteer who might be interested in that career path. After all of my schooling is complete I hope to be either an Athletic trainer for a team, the head Athletic Trainer of a team, or even the team's Physical Therapist, depending on which career path I choose to go down.
