My first job was automotive based. After 3 years at that Chevrolet dealership they closed their doors. The next opening door was followed by 6 years at a repair/performance shop. Where I spent 4 years as a Technician/Fabricator then 2yrs managing. I was then given the opportunity to learn a new trade. Where I spent 8 years working as a Certified Mercury Outboard Technician completing and obtaining over 90 certificates of completion. It was With God's help along my journey I have been able to consistently strive to get a better understanding of my professional industry. Today marks a new milestone, I have officially completed my 1st year with COX Powertrain. Where I have maintained the position of Regional Technical Manager. Along this season I have taken part in many first of type ventures with our built for purpose Diesel Outboard. That has taken me all over the Continental North America. The opportunities ranging from remote triage of rigging components, simply worked through at a distance by phone or email. Up to flying out in field around the Americas. The region I cover is from Canada to Panama from Hawaii to Maine. This has proven out such wonderful opportunities for our revolutionary powerhouse to shine. It goes without saying the adventure keeps getting better and better as life goes by. As a foundational belief Customer service and satisfaction is key in the recreational industry. Not people pleasing with reactive bandaids, however a productive pre-trip inspection approach. The understanding of how, always keeping a positive spin on the subject is beneficial to all.
