About Andrew Banas

I specialize in designing, building and supporting Analytic Platforms, also known as Data Warehouses or Data Platforms; having deployed six enterprise-level solutions in my career. I’ve developed a specific, repeatable methodology that involves 1) analyze a company’s existing capabilities and data, reporting & analytic requirements, 2) recommend an architectural solution, 3) mobilize a small team of existing employees and specialized new employees and/or contractors to build it, 4) deploy the new platform using a phased approach based on business priorities and 5) form a virtual team of existing company business analysts and train them to use the platform and proliferate that knowledge with a goal of achieving self-serve analytics and a data-driven organization. The initial, critical release of the data platform is accomplished within 12 months. These platforms have won numerous company and industry awards, to include one of three global finalists for Gartner’s “Top BI System of the Year”.
